2010-2011 season was very successful. More than 600 patrons laughed their way through the River Valley Players' fall dinner theater production of Funny Money November 9 to 13, 2010. The dinner theater was held in RVP's new fall production home of Forster Community Center in Rock Rapids.

Members of the cast were Jim Harsma, Jackie Wells, Scott Van Aartsen, Marilee Schleusner, Dan Kruse, Brent Hofmeyer, Shaun Kats and Matt Dengler. The play was directed by Jim Kennedy. A buffet dinner was served by Tony's Catering of Brandon, with the Rock Rapids Firefighters Association providing the bar service.

The winter musical, "Big River" directed by Tom Gaspar, played to large and enthusiastic audiences. A cast of 40 brought Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Jim, and all the other wonderful Mark Twain characters to life on stage. The season concluded with the annual Heritage Day Review.

RVP again sponsored Missoula Childrens Theater. A total of 60 area students grades k-12 participated in this years production of Pinochio.

The annual meeting was held Sunday Aug 21. This year's Rock Award winner was Brandon Pourier.

The membership drive for the current season is underway. The first production will be a dinner theater presentation of the comedy "Flaming Idiots", directed by Brent Hofmeyer. Dates are November 15-19 at the Forster Community Center.

Winter musical , directed by Tom Gaspar, will be presented February 24-26 in the Forster Auditorium at CL. The show has been selected, but production rights do not allow announcing the title until November. The season will conclude with Heritage Day review.

RVP will again sponsor Missoula Children's Theater. This years production is "Alice in Wonderland". Auditions will be held on Monday, Feb 27. Production date is March 2.
